Luanda, 13/10 - The Angolan women handball team, senior side, was defeated on Sunday (28-27) by its Cameroon opponents at the semi-final of the All Africa Games, takingplace in Abuja, Nigeria, thus missing the chances of conquering the trophy.
At the half time, the Angolan ladies were leading the score by 15-11 but the team, coached byPavel Dhezenev, could not secure the result.
With this defeat, the six-time Africa champions, have not the possibilities of conquesting the golden medal won in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1999.
