Speaking to the press on use of tourist attractions in Lunda Norte, the official said that the province has a vast historical and cultural heritage and favorable natural resources for profitability.

Meanwhile, it is the intention of the provincial government, and in the context of the diversification of the economy, to transform these resources into products that generate jobs for young people and collect revenue and wealth for the population, thus counting on the advice of private investment.

She said it is necessary that national and foreign citizens have real knowledge of the potential existing in the province, so that investors can make investments in the tourism sector.

For this reason, the local government, through the Culture and Tourism office, is creating conditions to boost the dissemination of the potential of the local cultural mosaic and natural places in order to attract investments to the sector.

The official explained that to accomplish this task, she relies on the media and social networks, for the ability to take information as far as possible, in order to awaken society to look to Lunda Norte with another interest outside of diamonds.

Lunda Norte holds one of the seven wonders of Angola, the Nakarumbo lagoon.
