Teachers attend methodology capacity building seminar

Quilenda- Teachers of the 1st cycle of education in the municipality of Quilenda, coastal Cuanza Sul province, participate Tuesday, in a training session on teaching methodology, in the Mathematics and Portuguese language.

Speaking to Angop, the provincial education supervisor, Jorge Manuel Chiquinho, said that the teachers who teach the initial grades are responsible for building the students' cognitive base, so they have a great responsibility to rigorously apply all methodologies teaching, so that the child can have a better learning level.

He mentioned that the first cycle of education is the basis so that the children can receive the first knowledge with greater clarity.

He said that pupils in primary education should achieve the objectives of developing learning capacity, having as basic means the domain of reading, writing and calculation, develop and improve the field of communication and oral and written expression as well as  improve habits, abilities, and attitude.
