Government prioritizes education in 2021 Annual Plan

Luanda - The government’s Annual Plan (PA) for 2021 has prioritized projects and activities of the sectors of education, health, social and action protection, and projects with an impact on national production.

The program, which also prioritizes projects and activities with guaranteed funding, provides for the implementation of 8,809 Priority Actions (Projects and Activities), to achieve 345 goals of the 182 objectives.

The PA 2021 identifies the Priority Actions to be developed by the different bodies that make up the National Planning System, throughout the country, to achieve the goals set in the 70 Action Programs of the revised PDN 2018-2022, with reference to the year 2021.

According to the Secretary of State for Planning, Milton Reis, who was speaking in the usual weekly Briefing of the Ministry of Economy and Planning for the balance of financing actions under Prodesi, the program will be assessed by the Economic Commission of the Council of Ministers.

In relation to Plan Execution, Monitoring and Evaluation, Milton Reis said a mechanism based on two moments, being the permanent evaluation, with a monthly and a quarterly report and Annual evaluation is to take place immediately after the end of the year.
