The secretary of State made such comment when chairing the opening of the seminar on “Management of the quality of public works and inspection of infrastructures”, promoted by the Engineering Laboratory of Angola (LEA) in partnership with the National Civil Engineering Laboratory of Portugal and the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP).

He went on to explain that the activity of supervising and inspecting infrastructures, carried out by the Engineering Laboratory and other  institutions is a tool for good management and conservation of newly built infrastructures, as well as for the drafting of programmes of interventions in this area.

Manuel Molares D'Abril disclosed that the seminar also serves for the laying out of proposals and recommendations aimed at the establishment of work models that make it viable and regular the monitoring of infrastructures.

The event is scheduled to end on Wednesday.
