COVID-19: Over 100 people end institutional quarantine
Uige - At least 147 national citizens who came from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) were discharged Monday, in Uige province, from the institutional quarantine as they did not present symptoms compatible with the new coronavirus (covid-19).

Speaking to ANGOP this Tuesday, the acting head of the provincial department of Public Health in Uíge, Lindeza Chaves, said that from the number of citizens, 143 were quarantined in the municipality of Maquela do Zombo and four in Milunga.
The official stated that these Angolan citizens were placed, last March, in institutional quarantine, after returning from DRC, where they participated in a Kimbanguista church religious mission.
Lindeza Chaves stated that they will leave the institutional quarantine, but will now continue in the home quarantine in their municipalities of origin in this phase of the State of Emergency extension.
