Covid-19: Over 4,000 people undergo screening

Lobito - A least 4,013 passengers from Luanda were screened at a station installed in Canjala commune, Benguela province, from Saturday to Monday, after the inter-provincial circulation was authorized by the government.

According to the health technician, Mário Caliengue, in addition to screening people, we have been disinfesting vehicles and motorcycles that pass through there, with sodium hypochlorite.

Mário Caliengue reported that there is a greater movement of people and vehicles from Luanda towards provinces of Benguela, Huila and Cunene.

Joel Honório Capula, another health technician, said some passengers have presented some doubts about the mandatory screening, but are immediately clarified and informed about the prevention measures against the covid-19 pandemic.

Benguela Governor, Rui Falcão, in his turn, urged professionals from multi-sector covid-19 pandemic teams deployed at the health fence to work hard, responsibly and with determination.
