Covid-19: Lunda Norte laboratory to cover eastern region
Dundo - The laboratory that will be set up in northeastern Lunda Norte with a capacity to conduct one thousand covid-19 tests a day as from September will serve the country’s three eastern provinces (Lunda Sul, Lunda Norte and Moxico).

The information was released Tuesday by the secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda.
Addressing a press conference, Franco Mufinda said the laboratory will be installed in 30 days to conduct other kinds of tests in the whole eastern region.
The official added that three other laboratories will be established in the provinces of Luanda, Huambo (centre) and Uije (north) to carry out six thousand tests a day.
According to Mufinda, the Angolan State has spent five million US dollars to purchase the whole equipment.
