The provincial government's caravan passed over the Kamorteiro bridge, Benfica, the retention basin of Vana, the level crossing of Quinta Rosalinda and the ditch that separates the Mutamba and Vila Kiaxi neighbourhoods, places where rubbish represents an eminent danger to residents.

The municipality needs a system of macro-drainage to put an end to the frequent flooding during the rainy season, a containment plan to help residents near the ditches and in areas considered critical.

They also visited the 9023 school, the university town and the mother-child centre of Mbonde Chapé, the only one in the town.

For the municipal administrator of Talatona, Ermelindo Gonçalves Pereira, who spoke to the press, the problems of the municipality have several dimensions, although he considers them all urgent intervention.

In relation to the ditches and the retention basin, he said that the solution would depend on the creation of the macro drainage plan.

The visit ended with a consultation meeting in which the municipality's social framework was presented, with emphasis on actions to combat poverty, the technical and infrastructural framework and the situation of the financing of projects at Talatona level.
